Gerade getestet: Ich kann bestätigen, dass der Sensortest für Firmware 3.00 Build 17 nicht richtig funktioniert. Diese Firmware hat einige Fehler, einschließlich der Art und Weise, wie Sensoren gelesen werden. Es betrifft nicht nur den Sensortest, sondern auch den Betrieb. Sensoren werden möglicherweise zu spät erkannt, sodass die Brücke auf dem falschen Gleis stoppt. 100mm hat weniger Probleme als 75mm.
Ich schlage vor, den DTC auf Version 3.00 Build 20 zu aktualisieren.
Und ja, ich weiß, dass Sie dafür einen PC mit Windows benötigen.

Just tested: I can confirn the Sensor Test does not work correctly for firmware 3.00 Build 17. This firmware has some bugs, including the way sensors are read. It does not just affect the sensor test, but also operation. Sensors may be detected too late, so the bridge stops at the wrong track. 100mm has less problems than 75mm.
I suggest to update to version 3.00 Build 20.
And yes, I know you'll need a PC for that running Windows.

The "universal" version for Mac has been removed from the VPEB site and File Galleries. It is replaced by separate versions for Mac-Intel and Mac-M1. Both are now confirmed to work by at least one external tester.

Ich habe noch einen alten McBook Pro 15" mit El Capitan und VmWare mit installiertem Windows XP SP3.

Wo kann ich eine Bedienungsanleitung finden um die DTC mit WinXp auf 3.00 Build 20 zu aktualisieren?

Es wird etwas länger dauern bis ich den DTC auf Version 3.00 Build 20 aktualisieren kann. Ich muss noch zuerst bei meinem alten McBook den Akku austauschen. Wenn ich soweit bin (Ende nächster Woche?) werde ich mich nochmals melden.

It will take a little longer before I can update the DTC to version 3.00 build 20. I still have to replace the battery on my old MacBook first. When I'm ready (end next week?) I'll report back.

Ich konnte ohne Probleme die Version 3.00 Buils 20 auf die DTC hoch laden. Hat wunderbar funktioniert.

Jetzt klappt es auch mit der DTCnewconfig.app. Ich kann die Verbindung direkt herstellen ohne vorher iTrain zu starten. Lesen und schreiben der Parameter funktionniert auch ohne Probleme.

Nur Sensor Test/Reset funktioniert noch nicht. Beim aktivieren des Buttons geschieht Nichts. Aber wenigstens stürzt jetzt die Verbindung mit der DTC nicht mehr ab. Ich kann dann immer noch mitbder DTC arbeiten ohne neu verbinden zu müssen. Wie gesgt, mit dem aktivieren des Sensor Test/Reset button geschiehtüberhaupt Nichts.

Hello Leon

I was able to upload version 3.00 builds 20 to the DTC without any problems. Worked wonderfully.

Now it also works with the DTCnewconfig.app. I can connect directly without starting iTrain first. Reading and writing the parameters also works without problems.

Only sensor test/reset does not work yet. Nothing happens when you click the button. But at least now the connection with the DTC doesn't crash anymore. I can then still work with the DTC without having to reconnect. As mentioned, activating the Sensor Test/Reset button does nothing at all.

Wenn Sie den Sensortest aktivieren, werden aktive Sensoren rot, Sensoren, die seit Beginn des Tests aktiv waren, grün. Drehen Sie nur die Brücke.

Ok. Das funktionniert auch. Der Hinweis wie man es machen sollte war der richtige.

Wie ist es mit der Polarität. Ist das auch nur ein Button oder soll dieser auch bei einer 180 Grad Drehung von selbst die Anzeige wechseln. Als Button funktioniert er richtig, das Relais der Brückenpolarität ändert sich, auch an der Brücke selbst. Im normalen Konfig- Betrieb und mit Sensor Test ändert es sich nicht.

OK. That works too. The hint how to do it was the right one.

How about the polarity. Is that just a button or should it also change the display by itself with a 180 degree rotation. As a button it works correctly, the relay of the bridge polarity changes, also on the bridge itself. It does not change in normal config mode and with sensor test.

The bridge polarity should be set by software. The switch in DTCnewConfig is just for testing. In iTrain you can set at which point the polarity should change, as far as I know other software too.

Die Brückenpolarität sollte per Software eingestellt werden. Der Schalter in DTCnewConfig dient nur zum Testen. In iTrain kann man einstellen an welcher Stelle die Polarität wechseln soll, soweit ich weiß auch andere Software

Das ist genau das was ich wissen wollte. Die Umschaltung der Polarität mit iTrain funktionniert ohne Probleme.

Danke für die Hilfe und Geduld. Für mich ist das Thema jetzt geschlossen. Ich habe keine weiteren Fragen und die DTCnewconfig App funktionniert auf meinem iMac 24" mit M1 und Monterey 12.2.

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Switching the polarity with iTrain works without any problems.

Thanks for the help and patience. The topic is now closed for me. I have no further questions and the DTCnewconfig app works on my iMac 24" with M1 and Monterey 12.2.

This is my first turntable installation . It is a Fleishmann 6152C Turntable.

I am requesting a manual for the DinaSys DTR v1. I have the manual for v2 but still have some questions about power input wiring and termination of the bus chain.
