Posted by Hans Nouwens on 2010-02-07 21:32 Hello Gerard, on page 22 of the v1.2 documentation you can see that you need a coil to create the needed higher voltage for the white leds. This output is modulated. The parallel restistor with this print version is on the print itself. All the other outputs are standard outputs and get the battery voltage. So, no. There are only two outputs for white leds. For other customers: print MCCdec Rev00 (software 1.0 and 1.1) were prototypes print MCCdec Rev01 (software 1.11) is not available any more. print MCCdec Rev02 (software 2.0) is the latest and current version. Posted by Leon van Perlo on 2010-02-08 17:54 Hi Gerard, 3 options: - If you use 3.6V (LiPo or 3xNiMH) it should work. - If you place an external voltage booster after the output it should work. Posted by Leon van Perlo on 2010-02-09 14:02 Gerard, You may omit the coil and 4k7 resistor, however - You must then connect the LEDs with normal polarity (so anodes to the + of your battery, kathodes towards the MCCdec Heads output; - You must put a series resistor between the MCCdec output and your LEDs (recommended >100 Ohm); - Your LEDs are driven at 50% only. This is no problem, but do not go over 50% effective current than your LEDs can handle (since peak is 100% then). I don't expect it's a problem since at 50% you probably need sunglasses already ;-) Of course for the other outputs it's standard as with other LEDs Leon
