Rokuhan Weichen, bidirektional

Hallo Zusammen,
warum funktionieren die Rokuhan Weichen nicht ?
Bei den Anschlüssen findet keine Umpolung statt.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Hallo Guenter,

Or if your motor draws less than 500mA you can install a source+sink driver to make an H-bridge.
In both cases set your hardware configuration of the bank to sink+source!!!

Nochmals Danke an alle Unterstützer

'Switch motor" in English is imho used for anything that drives a turnout and can be motor, solenoid or whatever. The Rokuhan website is unclear (to me) if it is an actual motor or a solenoid.
Another website mentions the device draws 300mA when operated at 6V, but the current can easily go over 500mA when the voltage rises to 10V.
Agree that an ADM/FH is the safer option in this case. Note, when choosing the power supply, that the ADM/FH will loose about 2V while a pair of TBD MOSFET drivers will have an on-resistance of some 6.5 Ohms and thus will loose about 3V at the full 500mA. Normally this is not very crucial, but since these devices apparently need to be operated at rather low voltages it may need some consideration. The advantage ot the ADM is that you may choose a higher voltage and modulate it so the effective current meets the specs of the device. If you do that with standard sink/source drivers, the peak current will probably be over the rated 500mA.

I think Martin is right that the configuration is wrong. The Device Definitions (2)Gen:Turnout are correct, both the continuous and the pulse version.
However you'll need an ADM/FH or sink+source as a full H-bridge to reverse the current. I see that Günter has configured it that way, but don't know if it is physically installed.
